RooTac™

High-Grade Contact Adhesive
RooTac™ is a nonflammable, water based contact adhesive with a high degree of water and heat resistance. It is particularly suited to bond various laminates such as Formica® and Wilsonart® to wood and wood composites. It can also be used to bond insulating foams to metal, plastic and wood. RooTac™ can be brushed or sprayed and has no objectionable odors wet or dry.

Use Guidelines
Surfaces to be glued should be free of foreign material and preferably between 70-80F. RooTac™ should be applied evenly to both surfaces at 2-4 wet mils depending on porosity of substrate. Coverage is normally 700-900 square feet/gallon. The films should be allowed to dry prior to mating (5-10 minutes at 70-80F with good air circulation). For optimum performance, the two surfaces should be mated within 2 hours after drying.

Clean up excess wet glue with water.
